Health Care Services

In partnership with the NHS and other health services we offer a range of health care services including:

  • Healthy eating advice & information
  • Ante-natal, post-natal and Health Visitor services
  • Help, advice & support to help you stop smoking
  • Advice & support on weaning & oral health care
  • Advice, support & information on young people's sexual health
  • Breastfeeding advice, support & information including a Breastfeeding Support drop in
  • Advice & support for preganat teenagers and teenage parents
Stop Smoking Service
Tuesdays 4.00pm - 6.00pm

Here at the centre we work with the NHS stop smoking specialist team to help promote smoking cessation in our area. If you are thinking of stopping smoking and would like to speak to a specialist, you can contact the team on 01274 437700 to arrange an appointment for here at our centre.

The team are available for appointments on a Tuesday 4-6pm


Breastfeeding Advisors

We have trained breast feeding advisors available everyday to new mums who may need support. Its adviseable to call before hand just to check with we have a member of staff available on 01274 600500

Baby Weaning & Oral Health
Mondays 1pm - 2pm (please check as dates for these sessions vary)

The FREE sessions are run in partnership with the Health Visiting Team and offer practical steps, advice and information that will help you move your baby from bottle feeding onto solid foods. The session also offers advice, information and handy tips on looking after your child's teeth and gums. These are held once a month every month by a Health Visitor from our local Health Visiting Team, dates vary so please call to find out when the next group is being held.
